ABOUT

… but originally born and raised in Bogotá, Colombia! I started my artistic journey very young as a ballet dancer and occasional sketcher. The first spark that got me into illustration happened in 4th grade, when I used to draw my own comics on the back of my notebooks. I cannot remember what they were about, but I do remember getting lost in my own little novelas and forgetting I was in class.

Eventually, I decided to follow my passion for dance and storytelling and studied 3D animation, where I learned the basics of character design and composition. Later on, I started to dive further into storytelling through illustrations and finding my own artistic groove. I can say that I have been fortunate to work on stories that truly pique my interest, either by working with authors whose message I align with or through my own personal projects.

Most of my artwork features colorful, minimalistic scenes with animals and nature. I crave stories with ridiculous humor as well as introspective and reflective narratives. Some of my favorite inspirations include "The Little Prince" by Antoine de Saint-Exupéry and Pixar’s film "Soul."
